Featured Pet: Mr. Creamsicle

Wanted: Empty Lap for Cuddling If you are searching for a very special loving and lovable lap cat, then here is the kitten for you! As playful as he is, Mr. Creamsicle is always ready to calm down, turn on his big purr motor and snuggle on your lap or chest indefinitely. Meet Mr. Creamsicle, one of a litter of eight that AFL has been fostering since they were newborns. This little guy has it all -- great looks, big personality, and he purrs like crazy whenever you interact with him in any way -- playing, petting, or even just talking to him! Mr. Creamsicle loves life, and he loves people. He has stuck around to keep his littlest sister company, but now he's ready to move on to his new home and family, and his foster mom says they will be very lucky to get him!

This kitten is very playful and, ideally, will make a home where there are other playful cats to keep him company. He loves toys of all kinds, especially chasing a laser light around the room, but he's also great at amusing himself with a ball or a stuffed catnip toy. Do you have a happy home for Mr. Creamsicle? If so, please contact us right away, because he won't be available long! Please note that Mr. Creamsicle was diagnosed with a slight heart murmur during a recent vet visit. Heart murmurs found in kittens are fairly common (half of his eight littermates had them), often resolve themselves as the cat matures, and may never cause future health issues, but only time will tell if this is the case. ** Please note that Animal Friends of Lansdowne gives priority placement to kitten adopters who are willing to adopt two kittens at once or who already have other young cats at home. We feel that most kittens are happier and better adjusted when they have company. Kittens need playmates, and animals which are not bored generally make better pets. Animal Friends of Lansdowne

Lansdowne Borough

Borough Council meets the first and third Wednesdays of the month at 7:30 p.m. at
Borough Hall ... come out and participate.

Why is Stormwater Runoff a Concern?
Stormwater runoff is precipitation from rain or snowmelt that flows over the ground. Impervious surfaces such as streets, sidewalks, and driveways prevent stormwater from soaking into the ground. As stormwater flows over ground, it can pick up chemicals, debris, dirt, and other pollutants that enter the storm sewer system. Once pollutants from stormwater enter the storm sewer system, they are discharged UNTREATED into local streams and waterways. These are the same bodies of water that we use for drinking, fishing, and recreation. You can be part of the solution! Read more here.
